South & West Hunting Ground

Storm nodded absent mindedly. She didn't feel herself. She was once , quiet nearly bloodthirsty, now, she was quivering. she realised it wasn't the blood.

Her eyes rolled into her head and she collapsed, fumes from a new human weapon clogging her lungs.

Kaiti rushed over to Stormcloud.
"It's the fumes from the metal monster..." she muttered. She took a deep breath and fluttered her dragonfly-wings. Tiny green dust particles landed on Storm's coat. Kaiti sung a short, catchy little tune. The particles began glowing. As she carried on singing, they turned from green to black before vanishing. When all of the little glowing particles had changed and vanished, Kaiti stopped singing. She nudged Stormcloud.
"I've drawn out the fumes that entered your lungs." she informed her. Music once again began to seemingly emit from her body, and a bright shield formed around Stormcloud, blocking out further pollution.

"Thanks." Storm stood, assessing the situation.

"Attack, no?" She said in, oddly enough, a perfect french diolect. The twolegs seemed to have understood.

"Um, desolee?"

Kaiti nodded. "You have worked out the tongue of the twolegs. This will help me with my song," she nodded, before she launched into a song using French words, the music emitting from her body changing into the beautiful melody of a stringed instrument.

"Hello?" She muttered unhappily. "Bonjour? What language?" Storm wasn't happy with this new skill.

The twolegs watched, stunned, before suddenly, half of them dropped their guns and fled. Who were these wolves that spoke their language?
Kaiti grinned. "I believe this twoleg tongue is called 'French'. I picked it up and sang it from one of the twoleg minds after you gave me the idea."

Chessru had been waching. He took a glance at the motionless Silvermask on the floor.
"Silver?" he asked, proding her with a paw. She groaned. Least she's still alive...
"Sunfire!" he called.

Kaiti turned and ran towards them, followed by Sunfire. Sunfire once more drained the pain into Kaiti's shield, sending it into the remaining twolegs.
"Are you ok?" asked Sunfire. "Silvera?"

Silvermask nodded and hauled herself to her feet.
"Thank you. We are in your..." Silvermask's eyes grew wide, "Kaiti?"

Kaiti's eyes closed.
"I am Kyoku-no-utsukushii, Tune-for-the-beautiful-world. You can call me Kyoku, the first part of my name; my nickname is only for my friends." her tone was slightly more serious than it had been before, though she seemed to have no hatred in her voice.

"Ok then, Kyoku" Silvermask muttered, her pupilless eyes flashing. She'd had normal eyes then...

Kaiti opened her eyes slowly. "I bear no grudge... Silvermask..." she smiled. "I am not here to do anything Pikokku has tried to do. I do have one question, though; why did you kill me, all those years ago?"

"I was a new Warrior, and I'd been in a fight with Shadow, who I'd only known as a pesk of a warrior back then. I'd destroyed his wings - he became flightless - although it was Viral the ripped his usless wings right off - anyway, I was dan angry Shadow had got away, and my vision was blurred. I'm afraid I must I mistaken you for Shadow..." She said sadly, covering up the truth in a lie. Silvermask was a good lier, and no-one ever found out. Her whole life was a web of lies anyway.

Kaiti had been singing softly while Silvermask had been speaking. "Ok, then," she said, when she'd finished. "Now can you tell me the truth?" she gave a small smile. "You can't hide anything from me while I'm singing."

"French." Storm muttered thoughfully.

"Bonjour. Salut. Guten morgan. Swat de ca. Caoi." Storm strung the languages off her tongue fluently in the correct accent.

Sunfire grinned. "The last one is Ciao, not Caoi. My mother-wolf was an abandoned twoleg dog, and she spoke that tongue."
Kaiti frowned. "I wonder if they know the speak-from-far-away my mum taught me?" she wondered. "Maybe I should try?"
She took a deep breath. "こんにちは." she said, slowly, remembering her family's teachings. "我々は...オオカミ。あなたは...人間."

Storm shook her head.

"I feel the knowlodge growing in my head, but I seemed to not have that tongue yet."

"Ti senêna? Mosha vi yong, peli Xewe Fofo Kesh'shi K'eccannishshi to' 'a-tu" Storm strung the ways of saying hello faster and more pronounced, reaching English at last.

"Hello."

"Are these wolves dangerous? They speak our language!"
"What shall we do? Run?"
"我々は、実行する必要があります！"
"¡Vámonos!"

Kaiti recognised little parts said by the humans as other parts said by Storm in a similar tongue.
"This 'Storm' wolf can speak to twolegs?" she questioned, bewildered.
The humans began runnign away. Sunfire let out a sigh of relief. "Hopefully they won't bother us for a while, anyways."

"Thats right!" Storm milked. "I can threaten you in more languages than you can think of and carry them out too!" She smiled.

"Suckeeers." She flashed her fangs.

Sunfire sighed in relief as the last of the humans fled.

Silvermask shook her head, "I cannot"
Chessru shot Silvermask a glance. Liar! Why can't she just tellt the truth!

Storm laughed, turning.

"Whats wrong with you?" Chessru mumbled, going to Sunfire's side.

Storm stretched. The info was coming into her head by the language.

Kaiti growled. "I think hiding the truth from me is very dirty. No matter what it is, I hold no grudge against you, so I don't see why you won't tell me." she gave a small scowl.
Sunfire licked Chessru gently.
"Let's go back to the clan den..." she looked at Taiyo briefly. "Come on, my little apprentice!" she laughed, and Taiyo bounded towards her and Chessru happily. Polaris walked to Stormcloud.
"How do you feel?" he asked.
