South & West Hunting Ground

Silvermask spotted a lone elk nodding at Chessru, they charged, and after alot of effort, they had it down. They carried the young bull back to Moonriver.

Sunfire, Polaris and Taiyo flew at top speed into the area before almost crash-landing on the floor, followed by a group of heavily-armed twolegs.

Chessru bashed into one as he landed, his legs collapsing in exhaustion. He pulled himself to his feet and started to drown a two-leg in water.
Silvermask dropped the two-leg gun and turned herself into Sunfire. She tore everyone's pain and thrust it at a two-leg, who fell to the floor, dead.

The twolegs seemed to be now carrying out a strategy. They lined their guns up, before firing around fifty at once, creating a sheet of bullets that swept towards everyone.
Taiyo's wings were pierced by some bullets but she didn't care, as she was two busy protecting her precious tail. Polaris froze some of them that were aiming for him, but did not manage to stop more than 6, and he got a few bullets in his front left leg. Sunfire stood her ground, not knowing what else to do.

Chessru snarled as Bullet's smashed into his side. He flew up, opening his wings menacingly. It just resulted in his wings being ripped apart by the next line of bullets.
Silvermask threw herself onto the floor. This is your chance to try out taking the form of a dead wolf.... It was alot harder, but it worked. She was Piku. She closed her eyes.

With Bullets and two-legs, Silvermask flew across the line of two-legs, slashing at as many as posssible. She knocked as many bullets out the way as she could. Her time was up. She closed her eyes

Silvermask winced as a bullet pentrated her chest as she turned back to her normal form.

A shower of bullets hit Sunfire. She tried to run to a twoleg and get rid of her pain, but she found that she couldn't move. Polaris panicked as more an more bullets came. He couldn't freeze more than a few each wave. Taiyo was still trying to protect her tail; the most sensetive part of her body. Pellets embedded themselves all down her back as she curled over it protectively.

Silvermask growled, and decided to use her last bit of strength. Kessho.

Silvermask was now Kessho, she fired Crystal's at the two-legs rapidly.
Chessru growled and ran to Sunfire. "Sunfire?" He asked, "Sunfire are you ok?"

Sunfire gave a groan. Crystals and bullets intersected all around her, showing the ground with broken, shining shards.
"Are we... going to lose?" she choked.

"No" Chessru snarled, standing infront of Sunfire to protect her, "I'll die before anyone losses!"
Silvermask felt white-hot pain as a two-leg bravely stepped forwards and stabbed her with a sharp claw. She doubled over, trapped in Kessho's form.

A bullet hit Taiyo's tail. She screamed and doubled over in pain. Polaris tried to run to her but was shot down by another wave of bullets. He fell to the ground, panting, his fur stained with blood.

"No!" Chessru roared, running through the bullets. Some hit him. He didn't care. Chessru's face twisted in pain as an exploasion of water echoed around the hunting grounds

A gentle singing filled the area. Sunfire weakly turned her head upwards to see a dragonfly-winged white wolf covered in pastel pink swirls.
Taiyo still tried to protect her tail. Polaris lay still, as if unconscious.

Chessru jumped backwards as the Tidal wave of water crashed downwards, sending him flying against a rock. He was in tatters now. It was a wonder he wasn't dead. Dead. I've been near Death's door many times. What if this time is the last?

Suddenly music began to fill the air. Not singing, but actual music, a beautiful arrangement of instruments all playing together.
Sunfire turned to the new wolf that had just arrived. The music seemed to be coming from the wolf itself. The music began to get louder.
Don't give up, Chessru.

Chessru lifted himself weakly from the rock. The music, the music. It hurt his torn ears. But still, it pushed him onwards.
"Aiegh!" He yelled a battle cry and leapt onto a two-leg, tearing his windpipe out. His muzzle dripped in blood and he saw the two-legs turn on him.

See you one day again Chessru thought as they began firing at him. Chessru ducked a few, and one hit in heart. Chessru slumped down as one stabbed him. ...Maybe...maybe this time, I'm a gonner... He closed his eyes as water plumeted to out of his wounds, the guns exploading, killing most of the two-legs.
Go to hell you fleabags....

The wolf growled. The music escalated in volume until it was near-unbearable, yet still beautiful in tune.

Kaiti began to sing. Her song carried over the area and mixed with her music. She sung faster and faster until her mouth was a blur. A shield formed around the wolves. Bullets bounced off it.
"Sunfire, right?" she called from her position. "You need to save Chessru. I've got your back, ok?"
Sunfire's eyes widened with surprise. She reached out and touched the shield. She flooded her pain into the shield. The pain shot through the shield into the twolegs beyond. With her pain gone, she ran over to Chessru, and began draining his pain into the shield too.

Chessru croaked and looked up at Sunfire. "I'm way in your debt now aren't I?" He smiled, taking a deep breath.

Sunfire shook her head.
"More like in that wolf's debt. She's holding back the humans with some weird song power." She cocked her head towards Kaiti briefly, before pulling away from Chessru, having drained away his pain.
Sunfire moved over to Polaris and started healing him, too.

"I'm still in your debt from the Iska/Kessho thing" Chessru muttered, looking up at Kaiti.
"You came to hep us?"

((I have to go, turning off the PC at half eight is what I have to do on school nights))

Kaiti nodded, before continuing to sing.

Storm circled overhead.

"Found them!" She dived.

Kaiti kept up her song-shield until Sunfire had healed Taiyo and Polaris too, before she dropped it. The humans, who were not expecting this, had ceased fire. Polaris took the oppertunity to attack. As the strange, enchanting music being emitted from Kaiti's body faded, he fired off a wave of his own, using ice shards. He stabbed a lot of twolegs and they doubled up in pain. Taiyo's eyes took on her rage-red glow and she fired a string of flames, further-charcoaling the twolegs.

Storm landed, trotting over, panting.

"Everyone OK?" She queried.

Sunfire nodded. "Only just! Help us attack the twolegs before they start firing again!"
