In the Volcano

"Yeah, it was." Brook laughed.

Daybreak was sat watching.
"No weaponary in this roo"
The sword was flug up towards Daybreak.

Taiyo looked up at her sister.
"Will Dad be ok?"

"I was showing Creekstone." Brook snatched it back.

Daybreak hit her across the face, taking the sword between his teeth and snapping it in two.

Brook growled low in her throat. Her eyes burned deep red, turning into the monster she'd kept back, that had killed Silverstorm, that almost killed Featherkite, that terrified Dusk Howl for moons...

Daybreak was unfazed. A puddle appeared by him paws, and various other items.

Brook suddenly dissappeared in a ball of fire. When she flew out, she was a ball of hot white light with red eyes. The sword flew up, melted together and flew into Brook's mouth

Daybreak just looked at her with his own steady gaze. There was a flash, and he became his original form - a ball of red light.

Brook leapt forward, bringing the sword in a smooth arc towards Daybreak.

Daybreak's light outlined his wolf form, arcing over Brook and landing swiftly behind her.

Creekstone pushed the other two away from the fighting wolvews. "Get back," he ordered. "Until this thing is over."

Taiyo did as she was told. Featherkite blinked at Creekstone.
"How can Brook have this powerr?"

Creekstone shook his head for an answer and created a wall of fire and rocks. "She's the child of a pheonix. What can't she do?"

"I've been thinking" Featherkite started, "Daybreak's an original - but he's never just like - killed someone - just like that. It's within his power - so just not - why?"

Creekstone looked at her with slight amusement. "Would you want to kill everyone you ruled over?"
The shock he had gotten earlier still was affecting him, and after a moment the flames and stones fell.

Featherkite shook her head.
"I mean the ones that stand in his way. The ones he actually kills"
She stopped a second, glancing Creekstone in the eyes.
"I hit you with that electrical charge, didn't I?"

Creekstone ignored her last comment and tried it again. "I wouldn't know why, but maybe they amuse him. Maybe that's why we're here."

"With Brook though - he could kill her and revive her right? But he's playing dangerous" Featherkite continued.

"I suppose." Creekstone held up water in the mix.

Featherkite thought about adding electricity, but shook off the idea. She just stared hard in thought.

This was too much, and Creek's wall fell again. He shook himself feircly and just added fire this time. "Everyone holding up back there?"

Taiyo was sat staring into space. Featherkite blinked at Creekstone, looking clueless

"I'll take that as a yes." The flames were definately weaker than before. Creekstone looked tired. "Uh, Feather, can you help me hold this up?"

Featherkite nodded absent mindedly, slowly trickling Electricity in.

Creek collapsed, exahsted. He stumbled to his feet. "I'm sorry." He set up the flames again.
