In the Volcano

Creek glared at her.

Apose crashed to the floor.
Daybreak padded towards her. That's when Apose smashed him to the floor and towered over him.
Daybreak spat. Momentarly blind, Daybreak rolled her aside and reared up on his hind legs. As Apose's vison came back, the last thing she saw was the killing blow.
He skull cracked, and her neck broke.
Daybreak stepped back as she was incaserd in purple light.

Featherkite stood motionless. Apose had been more powerful than Daybreak. How had Daybreak overcome her?

Creekstone staggered back slightly. He stared at Apose, hoping that she, too would come to life as Featherkite had. Nothing.

"She'll be back" Daybreak muttered.
"We all ready then?"

Taiyo ran towards her sister. Featherkite watched, and feeling alone, padded uptowards Creekstone.

"I...suppose." Creekstone stood as straight as he could.

Featherkite and Taiyo nodded simutaniusly. Daybreak, satisfied, took a deep breath.
"First, find the Stone. You have 1 minute. It could be anywhere in this...realm"

Featherkite's eyes widened. Her eyes scanned for a stone. There it was, by Daybreak's paw. She leaped for it, but it vanished.

Creekstone saw it again a distance off, but it vanished before his paw could close around it.

Taiyo looked at her sister to help.
Featherkite gritted her teeth and wrapped Electricity around the stone and tried dragging it towards here.

Creekstone got the idea and had a flame help 'drag' it.

The stone slowly dragged. Feather put in more energy. It sped a little faster.

Creekstone felt a shot of the electricity hit him, and the flame faltered. He tried again, feeling a little weak.

Featherkite grimiced stupidly. She pulled the stone in, and ran towards Creekstone, eyes wide with concern.

He shook himself. "I'm fine, I'm fine."

Brook wrapped the stone in fire and suddenly it was lay in her paws whilst she poked it.

Creek looked at Daybreak with a slight smirk. "What now?"

"Food." Brook said, her throat croaky. "Water too."

Like he'll give us that, Creekstone thought.

Brook stretched, and stood up. A belt with a sword sheath was visible, the handle wet with wolf drool. Brook had obviously been practising.

"Woah, where'd you get that?" Creekstone started forward to inspect it.

"Found it." She whipped it out the sheath in lightning speed.

Creekstone jumped back. "Impressive."

"Whatcha think i've been doin' all this time?" She seemed to have developed some kind of accent too.

Creek grinned. "You expect me to know that?"

She rolled her eyes, sliding her sword back.

"Hmm, i leave for a while, find a sword and this braclet" She showed Creekstone the Golden Phoenix wrapped around her foreleg. "I have nothing to do, and in between that I come back with huge swordsmanship skills."

"Sounds like a nutty week."
