In the Volcano

"No" Featherkite tapped him on the nose lightly.
"Your tired - let me"

Creek didn't argue, and flopped down again. The flames dissapeared.

Featherkit nodded. She raised an electrical barrier.

Creekstone shut his eyes- and to his surprise, Brickbone was back.

"Long time no see," he remarked casually.
"It's been hectic, in mine and your world." Brickbone smiled. "Your mother and uncle are here, too."
"Really?"
"Well, not HERE here, but...here" He gestured with a paw around the dark purble and black area. "In this world. With me."
"Brickbone, have you been watching what's going on-this game?"
"Yes. You're doing a fine job."
"No, I mean...Daybreak. What does he want from us?"
Brick laughed. "I suppose he's just bored."

Featherkite sat in silence, a ponding starting to echo in her brain. She shifted uncomfortably.

Feather heard a voice in her head.
'Where are you Feather?'

It was Kooneria.

Brickbone touched Creekstone with his paw. Creek felt a surge of energy and the shock dissapeared. He grinned. "Thanks."
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah."
"Then go on. I'll tell your mother you said hello."
Creekstone opened his real eyes.

Featherkite blinked. She hadn't seen Kooneria since. God no. She'd ran off with Creekstone and left Kooni. No doubt Creekstone thought Kooni was dead. Was she alive? Trapped with the others?
Featherkite pushed it aside.

Creekstone stood up, feeling awake. He looked at Feather's expression. "Are you ok?"

"Where are the others anyhow?" Featherkite looked up.

"What others?"

Featherkite shrugged. She was silient for a second - the only sound the faint hum of the elctrical wall.
"Creekstone - can I tell you something?"

"Anything you need to, I'm all ears." Creek sat down, and leaped aside to avoid Brook and Daybreak.

"When I was born, there was me - and another. It was dead - but I could hear it's breathing. Dad took it outside and then - then back again. Taron posessed the body, and I couldn't hear her anymore. I've never seen her. But she's always there - like she's real...and she's created bubbles to protect me...and..." Her words started to drift, "I think she's here"

Creekstone flicked his ears in surprise and nodded. "I had siblings. Mom killed 'um." He looked around. "If she's dead, I could see her. Talk to her, y'know?"

Featherkite's eyes grew wide.
"My did your mother kill your siblings? I never have forgiven my own parents for letting Taron take away my sister" Her paws shifted slighty.
"I think she's alive"

Creek shrugged. "If she is, then I'll help you find her. I promise."

"You didn't answer my question" Featherkite said lightly.

"And?" He shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me. I never knew them."

"I didn't know my sister" Featherkite put in.

"So why need to worry?"

"I heard her breathing. She was alive. I know it"
A vision poped into her mind.


Featherkite was in the dark space. She looked up, through deep blue eyes. There was a teal pup, with black wings outstretched. It was floating on what seamed to be a bubble.
Featherkite was speechless.
'You know the truth so why not just say it?'

Featherkite lifted her head.
"I took her life"

Creek did nothing, surprised though he was.

"They said it was born dead. And it was. The golden rings. The golden rings destroyed her as soon as she was born" Featherkite continued.
