Broad ledge

Brook stretched lazily.

"Well, I feel fine. Whats wrong with a little hunger?" She went to sit on the ledge. "Do you think this place will be our paradise? A place where no Dusk Wolves will shed blood?"

"I hope so," Tsu grinned. "It's near your home, the volcano, and near mine, the sea. It's just perfect for us."

"Puuuurrr-fect. Puuuuuurr-fect." She rolled the words over her tongue, tasting them like fresh kill. She sounded like a contented cat. "Maybe we should make a new pack? Like my father, he refuses to take sides. Maybe that's what our pack can be like. Like... Just.. good. Refusing to take part in wars."

"That's a good idea, though I don't see who would join the pack," Tsu sighed lazily.

"True." Brook gave a yawn that ended in a whine

"What's wrong?" asked Tsu, on the alert again. "You whined..."

"What?" Brook asked

Tsu raised a suspicious eyebrow.
"Why did you whine, Brook?" he asked, putting on his best 'I-know-something's-wrong-and-hell-yes-I-will-make-you-tell-me-what-sweetheart' face.

"A little bit of stomach cramp. Don't worry, it always happens and it's usually settled shortly after I eat." She pulled her most innocent 'Don't worry' face.

Tsu had an idea. He decided to watch Brook's eating habits very closely.

Brook looked out to sea.

"I wonder - do fire and water mix? We seem to co-exist very well, but others might disagree."

Tsu grinned. "You know, Brook, I never actually demonstrated how my powers work."
He flew out over the sea. Paper began appearing all around him, twisting together on the surface of the water to form a giant, waterproof paper boat.
"We can sail on the sea for a while and see how you react to the water, ok?" he suggested, flying down onto the deck.

Brook leapt onto the boat. "Romantic." she sighed.

Traveling over the sea, Daybreak spotted something below. He circled, once, twice before waiting for Habano.

"Wait." Tsu paused. "The paper is picking up the presence of a third wolf near us." he growled. "This voyage can wait. We're going to hide. You're in no state to fight or flee."
The paper boat turned into a hollow paper sphere, which surrounded Brook. The paper making up the bubble suddenly turned translucent, allowing Brook to see out of it. By Tsu's command, it flew off the ledge, and taking Brook with it, sunk into the sea. Tsu dived in after it. He wasn't taking any chances.
