The Lone Tree

Featherkite scrambled out from under the bush and shook her fur hesitantly. She remembered the prophercy.
She remembered Swiftwing.
She remembered Creekstone.
But Creekstone was still alive.
But Creekstone had changed.
The prophercy had done it all.

And the prophercy had not been fulfiled. The voices tormented her mind, and as she padded towards the fallen lone tree, she placed a front paw upon it.
Let it come.

Placing another paw onto the trunk, Featherkite rested her weight onto the trunk. She felt the power surging through the trunk, her own electricity circling the trunk's interior. She managed to climb fully onto it, and walk slowly up the ramp that led up into the darkened area.
Slower, and slower.

(Duh duh DUUUUUUUUUUUUH)

(I think I've got Feather, Daybreak, Chessru, Kiiroku and Kage all in durndurndurs on their own O.O)

Featherkite could see the darkness ahead, and her walk slowed more. She willed her legs to carry on, but something was holding her back. Gritting her teeth, she rested her weight on her bad leg, and jumped.

(O NOES D: )

(With no-one to save them!)

Featherkite felt a strange sensation. Then she was on the trunk again. But it was the wrong way round. Before she had a chance to study her surrondings, her bad leg crumbled beneath her and she fell.

(FLY FEATHY FLY)

(But Chessru is a dumb ass and now the dead Sunlit has done something in the Moonriver forest)

(O snike.)

(I am evil aren't I?)

Featherkite felt the air under her and struggled helplessy. The world blurred and the electrical current the the tree was oppasitly charged. Featherkite didn't know if she was flaoting, or smashed into the floor.
She could be still on the trunk. Or dreaming.

A gust of air hit her and kept her in the air as Creekstone landed. He was surprised to see her like this and kept a careful distance from the tree, where he could see sparks. "Featherkite?"

There was a distant voice, and Featherkite tried to break free of her daydream. But she could see a brown wolf, circling her like prey.
It was laughing at her, daunting her.
And then she saw Creekstone in the corner.
But the brow wolf hissed and carried on taunting her.
She kept reminding herself she was dreaming.

Sunlit's form appeared behind Creekstone, and begane to laugh.
'Stupid she is. Trying to discover new things in our universe. Trying to open a portal'

Creekstone kept the air coming, trying to ignore the voice behind him. "Featherkite, are you okay?" he called.

Featherkite stood up, and wavered on her feet.
But in her world, that was. She saw Sunfire and Chessru in troubled sleep, Alarika and Mattoni in horror. He little brother and sister, Barakiri and Kiiroku whimpering. Her own twin sister Kanji alone.
Was she dead? Alive? Lost?

Sunlit come round to face Creekstone directly.
'Chessru made many promisses as a pup. I promised that his firstborn would...well...be happy...kinda'

Creekstone slowly let her down. He turned to the spirit. "Sunlit. How, er...NICE...to see you."

'Your a good little one aren't you?' Sunlit mocked, 'Coming to stop Featherkite. You know I could kill her riht now'

"I'd rather you didn't." His eyes showed a flicker of hatred for an instant before fading away. "It's my job to keep Feather and Koon safe. I'd hate for that to fail." His eyes narrowed. "And you know some wolves won't let you."

'Your job? Just because your proprophercy is over, and Swiftwing the 1st is dead. Didn't do well protecting her did you?' Sunlit teased, swishing her ghostly tail. 'Except I have to sort out this screwed timeline and set things to how they were meant to be, so that means Featherkite should have died at the timeless realm, not Swiftwing' Sunlit paused, 'Oh, so I wish, but no, the prophercy continues and Featherkite is supposed to run of with you lardididardidiar. Something like that anyway. The three of you are meant to stick together somehow'

Creekstone's words caught in his throat before stammering out, "I-if that's what is to happen, ou shouldn't stop it."

'I'm correcting the fact that Featherkite has to completly shatter that leg behond repair' Sunlit smiled wryly, 'And you are there when it happens'

Sunlit looked backtowards Featherkite and started to walk over. Featherkite herself was started to get restless.

"Wh-" Creekstone took a step forward. "Wait! What do you mean!?"

'There is no point on trying to talk to you like civilised adults. It's like talking to idiots!' Sunlit retorted, flicking her tail and watching in amusement as Featherkite collided with Creekstone- sending them both into the air. Featherkite came out of her trance, her eyes wide, but Sunlit flicked her tail again, so both their jaws were sealed and they were frozen in place- Creekstone , fully aware of their surroundings.
'Amazing what this little gift from Neon can do' She remarked, a golden necklace shimmering round her ghost like neck,'Right. You know there are six originals. Daybreak is the fourth. You were born - created by Neon to function as One. The Four. To neutralize Daybreak. To let him visit te afterlife like her deserves too. Like the other five have. But it all went wrong as soon as Brook tried to help. She thought she was doing good, bless her. Apose revelled herself to the world killing her, didn't do any good, mind you, so Neon tried to train you earlier than planned. The knock-on effect triggered Daybreak to take revenge on Neon - not by killing her, because of course Neon could be reborn. But Neon lost the Timeless Realm - naturally of course, Daybreak's aim. But you lot weren't ready. Four is greater than three. Three of you fought that battle - the battle of time. Swiftwing died. Featherkite is now a mental issue. Alarika and Mattoni. Your Test-tube Children. Neon's timelines had told her there would be pups between the four. She chose Featherkite over Kooneria to have DNA taken along with Creekstone's as the pair of you fought very closely during that battle. She manipulated Daybreak through the waters of the Moonriver - even without the Timeless realm and being dead she can manipulate a bit of time. Her only power over Daybreak. He stole the DNA. Neon managed to falsify pregnancy on Featherkite. By then the pair where ready. And there are so many changes to be made! So many! Just think! We'll round up the dead and then we will be unstoppable!' She finished with a maniac laugh, her tail flicking and realising Featherkite and Creekstone from her grasp.
"Time isn't right or wrong, the timelines are just predictions. Neon is changing it so it turns out how she wants!" Featherkite growled and then the pair of younsters was dropped from mid-air, crashing down to the earth. Featherkite's head collided with a rock, and her conciousness wavered.
"You could do something good!" She spat, a trickle of blood dripping out the corner of her mouth.

Creekstone managed to land on his feet, and looked down at the earth for a while to collect his throughts.

"Sunlit! Your better than this!" Featherkite chocked, her eyes drifting to Creekstone slowly. Sunlit narrowed her eyes.
'Good? Isn't this for good?'

Creekstone kept his head bowed, and pebbles near his feet began to twitch as he concentrated. "So...you want to arise the dead so they can destroy us all?"
