The Lone Tree

Viral landed near the lone tree, or what was left of it.

Myst landed.

"Hello!" She smiled, pulling an innocent face.

Viral glowered at her. "Stop the niceties and get on with it."

"I've come to a conclusion. I think that we could get around the prophacy and make Sunwood the strongest clan."

"Why would I want to make Sunwood strong, you idiot!" Viral growled. "Sunwood is lost anyway."

She winked.

"Ah, but I have a way around. You see, the sun and a star are the same thing!" She cooed.

Nyxius hid behind a rock.
Viral, a Star is completely different! You're a Starcliff at heart! She's playing you!

Viral whipped around. He thought he heard a voice. "So you want Starcliff to be joined with Sunwood?!" he spat at Myst. He was feeling really annoyed with her stupid deal now and conjured up a few viruses ready to be unleashed on his tongue.

"The sun is a bigger star. So a Sun must be better too. The sun does lots for the world. We couldn't live without it. But the stars- they do nothing for us. Do you see?"

"All I see is you insulting Starcliff." Viral replied angrily.

She pushed a mesmer very hard, the hardest she'd ever pushed it, looking into Viral's eyes.

"But I'm not." She said, her voice ringing like a choir, singing the words.

Viral had to give in. It was impossible to fight anymore. "Maybe." he found himself saying.

"I wasn't atttempting to dishonour Starcliff, i was simply saying that the prophacy could be wrong." She said, continuing to push the mesmer,attempting to build the same mental connection she'd built with Seth.

Seth, how is it coming with Serendia? She thought.

She's being stupid. I give up. Seth grumbled.

"Yeah, it could be." Viral mumbled. "It could be." he repeated again.

Myst waiting for a long moment, feeling the connection. She dragged it in, connecting them firmly.

I can try again later. she admitted.

"Well, why don't we prove that then?"

Ok. Seth sighed.

"How?" Viral asked weakly. He felt his will being crushed.

"By making Sunwood larger. And you can be alpha! No need to go through the trouble of killing Xania! I'm offering you the chance of a lifetime!" Myst cried, pulling on the link.

Viral's eyes gleamed with greed. "Alpha of Sunwood? I can live with that..." he said. "But isn't-isn't Sunwood de-dead?"

"There are two members waiting. Me and you make three and four." She giggled. "And leave getting more members to me!"

Viral nodded slowly. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out for a moment. "What do I need to do then?" he finally said.

Myst smiled.

"One of the Sunwood wolves is being very rude, will you help me ease her into the idea?"

Viral nodded dumbly and flew off towards them.

Myst smiled and followed suit.

Nyxius swore.
"A sun isn't a bigger star. Our sun is smaller than the other stars! It's just closer!" She spat.

Silvermask laned. Soon enough, she spotted a grave, wit some bells. Picking the bells up lightly, she remembered. Murasaki
Dipping her head respectfully, she turned and flew back to the lake.
