The Lone Tree

Sunfire opened her eyes, feeling refreshed. She listened to what was being said.
"Hey, wasn't that Piku guy from the tribe? His name sounds short, but I doubt it's his full name..." she remarked. "Anyway..." she sighed and put her head on Chessru's side. "We'll have to look out for Sunlit now." she smiled. "That's what I like about this Isle; it's never short of adventure, right?"

"Piku's from the ledge between them" Chessru yawned, looking into Sunfire's eyes.
Damn she's so beautiful... He thought, his thoughts drifting.

Tsuki ruffled his ears. "My Isle is boring, the Tribe is stupid, and we eat Elk" he finished, "I could find her with the Moon?"

((Where did Piku go, O.O?))

"Cool, but we're coming as well." Serendia said and looked at her brother. He nodded and looked at Xania. She nodded reluctantly. "Please don't make me look at someone and make them nod." Serendia blinked at her.
"errrr...."

"If you want..." Tsuki raised a wolfen eyebrow Gee there just like little kids!

Seth grinned. "Great. But how are you going to do it?"

"The moonlight will scan the isle, it will report back to mel, then we go get her" Tsuki said simply, looking back at Sunfire and Chessru.

Chessru licked Sunfire's ear

Serendia nodded and closed her eyes. More images appeared in her mind and vanished almost immediately. "We have to be careful." she said simply and waited for Tskui to scan the land.

"The scan will have finished within a few minutes..." Tsuki muttered, bored.

"That's one cool power." Seth said. "But what happens if it's day time?"
"The moon is still out at day time, dummy." Serendia scowled at him.
"Stop calling me dummy!"
"But you are a dummy!"
"No I'm not!"
"Says who?"
"Says I!"
"Yeah, right." Serendia sniffed and tapped her paw. "Can we go now?!"

"No, the moonlight is still looking" Tsuki muttered iritably, his mane like fur blowing gently in the breeze.

"Doesn't light travel fast?" Seth scowled. "Someone could be dying." Serendia closed her eyes. "No one is...yet."

"Yes, but we have to look between trees. Spirits are hard to find" Tsuki muttered getting Impaitient. His ears suddenly Pricked. "She's at the Moonriver!"

"Who is?" Xania asked.
"SUNLIT!" Serendia and Seth yelled at her.
"Oh...right!" she said and spread out her wings. "Let's fly then." Seth shrugged.
"K."

"Come on then" Tsuki took off, his feathed wings taking him quickly across the breeze. He hoovered, waiting for the others to catch up.

Serendia didn't want to go, but she forced herself to. Go on! She flew up and Seth followed her. Don't worry, everything'll be fine! Serendia shook her head. Her power had never been wrong before.
Xania flew up beside them and followed Tsuki.

Tsuki decided Chessru and Sunfire were too busy starring at each other.

"Lets go" Chessru bolted off.

"Lovey-birds!" Serendia called after them and flew after Tsuki. Seth chose to ignore her and concentrate on dowsing for Sunlit. Xania smacked some trees out of their way.

Sunfire licked Chessru's paw before standing up.
"We should go and help them fight Sunlit," she said.

"Yeah....I....I really like you....Love you Sunfire" Chessru blurted out.

Sunfire blinked at him in surprise. She said nothing for a few minutes before replying with a smile.

"Chessru...
I love you too."

She licked the top of Chessru's head before she stood up and spread her wings.

Chessru blinked in wild excitment and spread his wings, "To the Moonriver?"

"You bet!" Sunfire grinned, taking off happily.

Seth landed at the Lone Tree. No wolf here. Why?

Sure, sure.. he grumbled and dropped the elk on the kill pile before turning back.
