The Stone Circles

Amaro snarled when she felt dust his her ears and shook her head violently, coughing a little. It was either bravery or stupidity that made her rip her head backwards, losing some of the skin on her neck in the process. "I'VE BEEN BITTEN HARDER BY PREY, WHIPPERSNAPPER!" she snarled, jumping backwards.

"Al-almost everything." He shrugged limply. "G-guess my will is, uh, is weaker than most or whatnot."

"I'm not trying." Sunlit replied simply, lashing out with her tail and wings at the same time.

Tynoka tried to look sympathetic.

Amaro threw all of her weight into Sunlit, attempting to knock her over.

Sunlit stumbled, and tried to take Amaro's legs out.

The older wolf wasn't quick enough to dodge Sunlit's attacks and she fell over on her side.

Sunlit went from Amaro's stomach then, with her teeth.

Amaro yelped and kicked with her back feet at Sunlit, wherever she could reach her.

"Grandma, er-" started Unfirth.

"Shuttup, dammit, I'm busy!"

Sunlit recoiled, her teeth ripping at Amaro's stomach as she pulled back.
"Do you want me to shred you, or do you want to live?" She hissed.

Amaro responded by giving her a kick to the face. Her old age was slowing her down, and she knew she couldn't keep this fight up forever. Maybe if she tried to take over Sunlit, even for a moment... She tried to focus.

Unfirth watched with a half fearful, half curious face. Just what is she trying now...

Sunlit rolled backwards, unaware of what Amaro was planning. She twitched her ears.

Suddenly Amaro was gone. She had managed to lodge herself in the back of Sunlit's brain.
Mm, a stubborn one. She began to try and work her way to the center of the brain. If she could reach there she could easily take over Sunlit.

Sunlit instantly knew something was wrong. She tried to shake it out of her head, and took a step back.
Get out of my head!

Amaro couldn't take full control. The will was too strong. Instead she took control of the feet and tried to make her slam into a tree.

Sunlit was running forwards towards a tree unwillingly. She turned her head away so she would hit the tree side on.

When Amaro felt the hit, she tried again, but the hit against the tree had done its job and shaken her out of control of the legs.

Sunlit hesitated, letting the dust around her rise.
"I'm perfectly fine with suffocating myself." She warned blankly.

Won't hurt me, the old wolf answered smugly. She actually had no idea whether or not she was telling the truth. She had never taken over a dead body.

"Gr-Grandma," called Unfirth. "Y-you, uh, better get out."

"Besides, I used to be an assassin. I could have killed you earlier." Sunlit grinned lopsidedly, "Without you even knowing. But I chose to fight."

"Want to go ask the victims?" Sunlit flicked her ears.

Try me.

Unfirth sighed. He knew Amaro well enough to know that she wouldn't give up until either she or Sunlit were about to die. All he could do was sit back and wait.

Sunlit closed her eyes, and the dust around her began to rise. It loomed towards Sunlit, and Sunlit twitched as the sand wrapped itself around her.

Amaro quickly realized the she-wolf was serious, but she stayed in. Quickly she inched her will towards the brain. If she could just get into the brain, and make her stop...

The sand began to attack the lungs. Sunlit coughed, and her resistance faltered.

Bingo. Amaro slipped in and began working away at the brain, trying to make the dust drop.
