The Stone Circles

Viral swooped down until his paws touched the surface of the river.

The fire wolves weren't as smart as a pure fire wolf, but they were smart enough to take to the sky and circle Viral.
"GIVE UP NOW," one roared.

Polaris also flew after Viral, waiting for a chance to attack.

Viral scowled at the fore wolves. Why would he give up? That was a stupid command. He noticed Polaris following him and sighed. He needed to go somewhere secret, somewhere deserted. Viral suddenly thought of a place and swerved around the cliff.

Shadow sniffed the air as he materialised. He'd done it right this time. With Silvermask contained, we was flightless. No lifts.

"Viral!" He hissed, running as fast as he could. Shadow activated his Shadow seek, so he wouldn't lose track of Viral. "I'm gunna get you!"

Shadow growled, heading for Sunwood. He hated Silvermask, but they needed her. And there was more wolves near Sunwood....

"GET OUT OF STARCLIFF!" Viral roared and unleashed a cloud of incurable viruses. He aimed them straight at Wingspan and Shadow. He quickly blew out more.

Shadow's weaker half had gone to Sunwood. That was the advantage of being a loner. You could split yourself into two...

"Viral" Shadow sneered, "The Sunwood Alpha is more evil than you!"

Viral shrugged. "Don't you like it?" he asked.

"The Sunwood Alpha is clever than you" He teased

Polaris landed next to Shadow, slightly startled by his comments.
"If that's true, and you're managing things here, do you think I should go back to Sunwood, then?" he asked. "Or do you want me to stick around to help you with Viral?"

"Viral" Shadow murmed, falling to the floor

Polaris sighed.
"Yup, I think I should stay here." he stood in front of Shadow for defence, ready to attack Viral if he came any nearer. Ice shards formed around him, ready to fire on the slightest movement from Viral.

Shadow took out part of Virals Power. Part of Polaris's power....

Polaris gave a start. His ice shards had mysteriously disappeared. He suddenly felt slightly tired. "What in the world...?" he muttered, before slowly making some new ice shards to replace the other ones. "It's as if... I lost some energy or something," he growled, puzzled. He shook it off and continued to stare at Viral darkly.

"It's nessicary" Shadow managed

Viral kept still and watched the virus secretly enter Polaris. He showed nothing to indicate it.

Polaris growled. "If I die, you'll be partly to blame then." he told Shadow. "Oh well, whatever." he turned back to Viral.
Suddenly he felt an overwhelming pain worm its way through him. He fell to the ground.
"A virus!" he gasped. "Damn that Viral!"

Viral walked over to Polaris and pinned him down. "Who says the Sunwood Alpha is more dangerous than me?" Viral hissed softly.

"What? I never said that!" retorted Polaris. "I can't thik of anyone more corrupted than you. Seriously." he bared his teeth. Suddenly he dropped his body temperature to below freezing. Although the virus could not be killed off, by freezing it he could disperse it in small doses, reducing the effects.
His body temperature was so low that he was able to freeze Viral's claws that were pinning him down. He tapped them with one of his own claws and they shattered into tiny shards of frozen bone.

Wingspan dodged the attack and ordered his hybrids of flame to follow Viral.

Suddenly Arcaii appeared, her eyes narrowed. So Viral's still alive...Crap. She increased her speed and landed on one of the rocks, closing her eyes and finding Viral's mind among the others. She forced him to fly out of his hiding place.

Wingspan immediately yelled, "CHARGE!" And the fire wolves surged forward.

Storm leapt forward, teeth bared. She wanted to kill Viral, oh she did. She felt the heat of the Fire Wolves. Time for Viral to die.

Arcaii felt a jarring pain in her stomach and coughed. Her whole body was in agony and she barely managed to fly down to the stones without crashing. Who was this causing her pain?

Arcaii?

Storm tore away. "I WILL KILL MY APPRENTICE!!!" She fumed. "ITS THAT STUPID IDIOT CAUSING THIS PAIN!!"

Arcaii forced herself to ignore it and called, "Forget it, Storm. Leave it be." She flew into the sky and met up with Wingspan.
"Are you ok?" her brother asked worridly.
"I'm fine, but we have more important things to discuss."
"Such as?"
"Such as why the hell didn't you kill Viral."
"He's stronger than expected." Wingspan hung his head slightly. "But to be honest, I don't know if I can keep fighting."
