The High Rock

"Ok, I think we're safe," said Wingspan after a while, landing on the rocks. "Viral's either dead or crippled."
"Which, for some reason, you couldn't kill him yourself, or with, like, a BAJILLION FIRE WOLVES." Arcaii glared at him. "How he escaped that is beyond me."
"Whatever." Wingspan flapped his wings. "What is it? You led me away for some reason."
Arcaii sighed and looked down at the rocks. "I know that we're loners, and we need a home, and, well, those wolves are so kind and friendly. And lethal. Did you see what they did to Vi-"
"What's your point?" Wingspan didn't like where this was going, and his tone had taken on a colder version of itself.
"Well..." Arcaii looked up at him at last. "I'm considering joining them."
A really long pause. Wingspan suddenly smiled grimly. "And I suppose that you've given up being a bitter she wolf that's preggers."
"Kinda."

"Listen Arcaii, I don't give a damn where you're going, but you might have to reconsider your, uh.." He coughed. "Plan for the pups."
Arcaii narrowed her eyes. "Good point. Besides, I just realized that they might not be as friendly after this. Like that one family we stayed with..."

"Let's not remember them. Let's just go back to the Lone Tree, then we'll head to the Rock Caves, how about that? You could be there long enough to have them, then we can go somewhere else."
Arcaii nodded. She flapped her wings and flew off with her brother to the Lone Tree.

SIska landed on the rock and looked at Flash's cystal helplessly.

Xania arrived unnoticed. She kept an eye on Iska.

Iska summonded the wind and lifted the cystal up, smashing it against the floor.

Xania ducked as a few shards flipped over her head.

Iska looked out on the horizon, bored.

Xania felt a bit sorry for the young wolf, but didn't dare confront her.

Iska sat up, and took off. It was time to confront the others...

Xania followed her silently.

Iska took off, heading towards Moonriver.

Seth and Serendia landed on the rock. "Wake me up if you sense any danger." Serendia yawned and fell asleep.

Nyxius landed on the rock, panting. It wasn't Starcliff, but it was the first place she'd seen.

"Who are you?" Seth asked Nyxius calmly.

"Lunaris Nyxius" Nyxius replied simply.

"Welcome to Sunwood Lunaris." Seth said. "What are you doing here?"

Nyxius rolled her eyes.
"Sunwood eh? The fallen clan?"

"And your point is...?" Seth's blind eyes glared at her.

Nyxius paused.
"Sunwood was meant to fall, your loners now"

"Doesn't mean we can't stay here." Seth argued.

"No, I suppose not" Nyxius murmed, "I'm off back to Starcliff now, Marru's probley landed himself introuble"
She streched her wings, waiting for either wolf to say anything.

"Watch out for Xania." Seth chuckled. "She can be downright annoying."

"Annoying hmm?" Said a spirit, brushing against Seth. "I could make Sunwood strong again." she offered, her voice layered with an irresistable magicall mesmer
