Sunwood Border

Nyxius sat on the border. Her head spinning slighty. Dammit, this life was stupid. She wanted something..something grander...

Sunlight glided overhead and saw Nyxius. Why are all wolves here so dramatic? Sunlight grumbled in his thoughts.

Nyxius swished her tail, her icy blue eyes burning. There was something going on here...

Habano landed, looking around. No one? Good. He started to walk forward when something crashed into him.
He yowled in pain and turned. "Who-" He leaped backwards at the sight of the five fire wolves that stood in front of him. One took off into the air and dissapeared. Habano realized he was on fire and rolled in the dirt to get the flame off of him.

Daybreak appeared. He had sensed the Firewolves presence.
He drew himself back turning into the outlined form.

The firewolves felt the other wolf, but their job was to attack Habano. They charged at him and one managed to set him aflame again before Habano created an invisble border. The wolf exploded in a burst of flame and the others drew back for a moment.

Daybreak wized past the wolves, landing infront of them.

The 3 remaing felt uneasy and looked at each other, not sure what to do.

"Great little toys aren't you?" Daybreak laughed, slamming into one of the wolves.

The wolf jumped to the side and passed through Daybreak's tail. "We do what we are told to do," he replied evenly.

"Orders like pitiful toys" Daybreak shook his head, leaping at another, his energy spurting into it.

The flames on that wolf grew before he bit at the outline. "Toys or not, we do as we are commanded."
One of them realized that Habano's border had faded and he leaped at him, holding onto his tail and refusing to let go.

Daybreak paused.
"I'm only here because I don't like you" He returned to his body. "Sometimes simplicity does the trick"
He fired a ball of pulsing light at the Firewolf attacking Habano. "Flames don't work on everything"

The wolf exploded. More wolves appeared in the sky and swarmed Daybreak. Habano desperatly tried to get his tail to not be on fire.

Daybreak couldn't help a smile appearing on his face.
"This all he got?"
Daybreak fired half a dozern more balls of light in various directions.
"Hm...I'm bored of this" He swished his tail, kicking up some water from a puddle at a random Wolf.

One wolf engulfed Habano entirely before he was hit with the light. Both were thrown backwards and Habano hit the wall. "DAYBREAK, CAN I GET SOME HELP, I'M ON FIRE!"

Daybreak rolled his eyes. The fire around Habona extingushed. He looked impressed himself.
"So drawing in water from a puddle means I can use it? Awesome"

He knew the light was a simple trait all the originals had. Daybreak had found his power.

Habno grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, sir. I'm not the best in battle."

Daybreak just nodded. Lightly, he tapped a firewolf before drawing away in pain.

The fire wolf turned and fled into the sky. The others swarmed the two again.

Daybreak locked eyes with a fire wolf, and watched the flames of the other firewolf hit it.

The two wolves that collided blended into each other and charged Daybreak again.

"Hm" Daybreak blinked exploading it.
"Fire to fire dosen't work as well" He muttered, placing his burnt paw back in the puddle, drawing in water.

"So that saying isn't true?" Habano looked at him. "You know, fight fire with fire?"
