"Why I am I even talking to you?" Kasi blurted out, jumping into the air.

Stepping out delicately from the clouds, Whim alighted on the hard packed ground.

"Africa has left me alpha of this clan," and her voice shook ever so slightly with grief, before disappearing once again in her silver voice.

Akurades looked around then followed in after Whim. She despised the alpha, yet would never say it out loud. Just too innocent, she was.

Jachile looked at his alpha, Whim. His heart started to feel like it was floating but he stopped himself from smiling.
He kept his body strong and tall as he stood up.

Whim eyes Jachile, wary of the newcomer. "What are you smiling about?"

Such rough words, spoken in her silver voice, had polished them into diamonds.

Akurades rolled her eyes slightly. "Love," she mouthed to Whim, and narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Jachile.

Jachile bowed his head.
"Nothing, Alpha," The warrior said to the female.

Whim snorted derisively. "Only the weak," here she sniffed, "Fall in and out of love."

She proceeded to ignore Jachile; only responding to Akura, with whom she had developed a strange allegiance.

Jachile backed away from Whim.

Akurades chuckled, and once again, smirked, and repeated her words from before, like she may do numerous times.
"Nice one."
She glared over at Jachile, and noticed something like wariness in his eyes. Her smirk grew wider, but then fell, leaving her face emotionless.

Whim grew tired of standing around, and launched herself into the air, with as much grace as usual.

She rode the winds to her cave, leaving her beta and Jachile as specks in the distance.

Akurades watched Whim fly off, then glanced once more at Jachile and walked away. She lookjed up at the cliff tops, where she had just been, and wondered what had happened to that wolf Whim had pushed off. She shrugged to herself and sat down, staring at the sky. She closed her eyes, got back to her feet, and flew to the circle of stones.
