The Launch Bay

"Habano." He smiled. "Are you injured too?"

"No." Sunlight answered and shook out his wings. "I'm just here to tell you that I think the dead has risen."

Marru pulled a face.
"Yeah, I know about that, It's stupid"

"I wonder who brought them back." Sunlight mused.

"The great Phoenix I supose" Marru shurugged.

"Oh, THAT dude..." Sunlight said. "He's a pretty powerful guy to do that kind of thing."

"I know he brought Sunlit back, and Sunlit brought back Viral..."

"Damn, that wolf who spreads diseases?" Sunlight muttered. "He's back?!"

"VIRAL'S BACK?!" Wingspan cried.
"Oh, shit." Arcaii narrowed her eyes.
Habano looked up. "Viral? Pheonix? What are you talking about?"

"Um..." Marru paused, "Stormcloud, Myst, Crane, Sunlit, Viral, Murasaki, I think"

"Sh-t, sh-t, sh-t," Arcaii muttered as she stalked back and forth, limping slightly.
"Arcaii, your le-" started Wingspan. Arcaii wheeled around.
"To ef and beyond with that! Viral AND Murisaki, and Sunlit- Sh-t!" She continued pacing.

Marru dipped his head, "I really think we should get out here"

"We'll be ok for the moment," piped up Habano. "I put up a border around the tree."

"You can't just put up a border" Marru raised a wolfen eyebrow

Habano grinned. "Didn't you see what happened to that dog?"

Marru shrugged. "No. But" He looked at a scratch on his back, "I...I...I think I best get back to Starcliff"

He took off in a rush, and tripped over his wings, landing in a pile. "Oof!"

Chao landed.

"Hold onto that tree!" He hissed. "This is my good deed for the rest of my LIFE!" He yelled, extended the shield around himself.

"Anyone got anything to cushion the blow when we land?"

"We already have protection you idiot" Marru lifted his face, complete with a broken nose.

"Protection from the WORLD blowing up?" Chao hissed.

"What the hell?" Marru pulled a face

"The whole world is being sucked into a massive- crack thingie. I listened into this wolf.. Brook i think. She said to shield and cushion yourself. I can't cushion, so just help me!"

Marru gave a snort of laughter.

Habano blinked, a little confused. "Uh...I don't have anything."
Arcaii spoke up. "I could manipulate us to fall slowly."

Marru was still laughing. Blood trickling from his broken nose.

"Good idea! HOLD on!"

At that point the tree with all its inhabitants was yanked out of the ground and was sucked away towards Ash Ocean
