"I'd say so." Sunlit butted in, not looking away from Unfirth.
"I just don't want to talk about it." Tynoka replied defensively.

"Dammit, you pups and your idiocy." She shook her head and glared at Unfirth, who had looked down again. "Boy, y'might as well be polite, tell 'em our names."
"Uh!?" He shot his head up and shook slightly. "Uh...Un..."
Another whack to his head. "Stupid idiot." She glared at the two. "Amaro, and this is my idiot of a grandson Unfirth. Who the hell are you?"

"Tynoka." Tynoka responded quickly, and looked across at Sunlit. The sun coloured dusk wolf twitched under her glance.
"Sunlit."

Amaro scowled at them for a minute longer. "Well, hell, then is there anywhere to go without a buncha idiots around?!"
Unfirth took the tiniest step away from her.

Tynoka shifted uncomfortably.
"What makes you think we're all idiots?"

Sunlit blinked against the sun, flicking her ears.

"Everyone I met is an idiot."
"...Mom wasn't?"
"Dammit, boy, you're an idiot too. Especially your mother." Amaro let out a hacking cough before growling, "She was gunna keep this little bastard in a DEN for the rest of his life. TO PROTECT HIM. HA!"

Sunlit seemed to flinch at that.
Tynoka looked amused.

"Couldn't believe it." She shook her head. "Protect him?! He'd do better in a cave of bears and angry originals than in a den like that!"

"You know originals too?" Tynoka pricked her ears, "I thought I knew all the wolves of Dusk Isle."

The dust around Sunlit began to rise. She appeared not to notice.

"I ain't from here, girl. I've just heard stories." She glared at her grandson. "This poor bastard got caught by some senile wolf raving about a war or somethin'."

"Ah. Daybreak and Apose's conflict. The originals have split sides. Apose is number one, and Neon - number two - is sucking up to her. Kohaku is number three, but she's trapped for some reason. Probably Daybreak's work - he's number four. Number six, Kaiti is on his side, because they like love each other and stuff. Number five, Cynder is helping the rebellion - although, she's gotta have motives." Sunlit burst out, explaining. Tynoka's eyes widened at the new information.

Unifirth blinked, while Amaro digested the outburst.

"Sooo what side are newcomers on?"

"Daybreak if you want power, Apose if you love the land, and the rebellion if you're sick of the originals." Sunlit shrugged.

The two newcomers shot a look at each other, both puzzled.
Amaro said after a moment, "What if you just don't give a fuck?"

"Don't join in at all." Sunlit rolled her purple eyes.
"To be honest, I don't care either." Tynoka shrugged.

"Ach, dammit. Who's idea was it to visit here?" she growled.
"Um, y-yours, grandma."
"...Right...." She sighed angrily.

"Where'd you come from anyway?" Tynoka asked polity. Sunlit began to create dust balls and then destroy them - out of bordem.

Unfirth watched Sunlit with something like envy.

"We came from - ah, hell, I'll let him explain." Amaro nudged the half-pup. "Boy, tell 'em what it's like, I'm getting tired of talking."

"Uh- Well, it was a mountain-y area..." he shuffled his paws nervously. "And, uh... It didn't really have a name. There weren't just wolves there...er, winged, I mean. Yeah. Uh, large plain, er, plenty of food..."

"It was good," cut in Amaro sharply. "An' the only reason we came was because I was trying to save this little moron from a pathetic life in the dark."

"Mutations," added Unfirth after a moment. "Mutated wolves. All of us."

"Mutated?" Sunlit looked interested. Tynoka pricked up her ears.

Unfirth opened his mouth to continued, but stopped and looked at Amaro nervously. She rolled her eyes and sat down.
"Er, yeah... like... there's, uh... mutated..."
"Stupid little..." Amaro grumbled.

Tynoka gestured from him to continue. Sunlit glared at Amaro.

"And...uh..."
Amaro impatiently finished for him. "Some wolves from here, I think, 'n' all sorts of mutated animals, but not much else." She ignored Sunlit and spoke to Tynoka. "So, whippersnapper, this place must be interesting." Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.

"Actually, it is." Tynoka blinked, indicating down into the clan.
"The stone circles have an interesting past."

"Stone circles?" The she wolf scowled. "What the hell you goin' on about, stone circles?"

"In the middle of this territory, we have stone circles." Tynoka blinked, "I can show you if you like?"
