Sickbay

"I did something a long time ago I shouldn't have." T'Irsa said cryptically. Then, he turned over his shoulder to look at something, then growled.

"Make my look like a complete dolt, why don't you?" He said to the thin air.

Shadow raised a wolfen eyebrow.
"Who are you talking to?"

"My Protecter, Monotone. He can choose who he shows himself to. Which is annoying, since he shows himself to only me."

"You aren't meant to speak of me!" Monotone said, sitting down. He flickered his tail irritably.

"You amuse me, Monotone." T'Irsa laughed at his companion.

The invisible wolf growled.

"Protector?" Shadow cocked his head, "I don't know where you come from, but we don't have them around here."

"He was assigned by-"

Monotone leaped up, clapping a paw around T'Irsa's head

"Owch, you mongrel! It's a good job I like you, or I'd cast you out into the airless space!" T'Irsa ranted behind him, his tail flicking back and forth, growling

Shadow held himself back from laughing.

"I see he doesn't want you to tell me. Do you come from round here then, or not?"

Monotone growled

"Erm, I think Monotone doesn't want me to say." The younger wolf chuckled. Little would he know he was talking to his uncle.

"Okay, Monotone, let him say something." Shadow addressed the thin air.

Monotone shook his head. "To do that I have to reveal myself. Not a chance."

T'Irsa rolled his eyes. "He doesn't want to."

"He doesn't want to let you say anything? You aren't making any sense?" Shadow flicked an ear irritably.

"He's my Protector. He tells me what I can and cannot say, what I can and cannot do, who I an and cannot trust and love. He prevents me from making foolish mistakes. He does only good for me"

Like I did all those years ago T'Irsa thought bitterly.

"I see." Shadow nodded his head, "Although none of us on this isle need protectors." His eyes flashed.

"Well, now I'm free, what next?" T'Irsa smiled

"Your call what you do." Shadow flicked his tail.

The drone in which the glitch had posessed gave an ominous growl.
"It is not 'their call'." Enn reminded the two. "I'M THE ONE LEADING THIS ATTACK. We're going to find Cynder. WE'RE GOING TO KILL HER. If you're not alright with that, YOU'RE NOT COMING."
The glitch's growling tone sounded very computerised and graty and unlifelike, but clearly showed anger and enragement, obviously directed at Cynder, and underlying tones of impatience.

Shadow twitched, "I simply meant it was his call whether he joined us or not."

"Alright then, "glitch"." T'Irsa muttered. "Lets go already."

Shadow winked.

The glitch leaped gracefully out of the corrupted Drone and landed on all fours in a burst of light. Wordlessly, it ripped a portal open forcefully using the computer, the screen becoming used as a glowing passageway to Cynder's location.

Shadow leaped through in an arch.

The glitch followed with a loud crackle of plasma and binary-shaped lights.

T'Irsa turned into a cat, who was then scooped up by Monotone and they both leapt through the portal.
