Sickbay

To heal the wounds of the mortal wolves.

Shadow awoke, irritated. He looked up at the celling, and to the restraints that bound him. There was no point in a struggle. He cursed himself for his failure, narrowing his green eyes and plotting.

The door to the sickbay began smoldering as if it had been set on fire. Heat and pure electrical energy coursed through it like lightning, and within seconds it had been reduced to a smoking lump of melted titanium.
In the doorway stood a large metal wolf-- one of the drones. However, this particular drone had chosen a most overdramatic method of entry, considering that it could've just unlocked the door. It wore a strange, deranged blue smile on its pixellated face as it stood over the imprisoned wolf, showing every symptom that it had not got a scrap of its sanity left.
Did it even have any in the first place?

"Do you not want to be here?" it spoke in a voice that was thick with sarcasm and contempt as well as the tones of a maniac. "I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE. It smells like metal. IT SMELLS LIKE PUPPIES. It's a prison. IT'S HELL."
The volume of the voice fluctuated every sentence, first being loud, then quiet, then loud, like a broken machine. It was quite obvious, however, that this glitched up drone was addressing Shadow.

"I do not like it, no." Shadow responded, pulling lightly against the restraints, "The outside world is better than this. And your master - your old master is working on the wrong side." He paused, "I can help you."

"My old master?" the drone cackled like some wild bird's broken cry, its mad blue eyes dancing with the light of scorn. "DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH. My power is too great for me to be an intentional creation. I AM NOT PROGRAMMED."
As if to back up it's statement, blue and pink light crackled ominously over its paws, and the floor underneath it changed colour and split into little tiles which each changed to a different pattern like a glitch in a digital game. This was not too far from the truth.

"In the system. I AM A GLITCH. This is not my body. THIS IS MY VESSEL."

In explaination, a living pink light leapt with a strange unnatural grace out of the metal wolf, causing it to fall to the floor in a lifeless heap. Over the imprisoned Shadow the light stood, taking the shape of a wolf. It was bright pink in colour, and had wings and a tail made of pale blue energy floating against his body like coloured air. Two bright blue eyes bore into Shadow's own and an alien grin of unnatural shape grinned down at him maniacly.

"So you hate Cynder. I CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOU HERE." the glitch cackled in its fluctuating voice, and the restraints binding Shadow at once glowed and dissolved into glitchy particles of various interesting colours.

Shadow jumped up from the biobed, leaping onto the floor.

"What are you planning, glitch?"

The living light cackled manicly.
"Who knows?" it replied, scanning shadow with a computerised, pupilless stare. "I'LL JUST GO WITH WHATEVER HAPPENS." it paused, turning its back on Shadow and padding noiselessly to the dead drone. It leaped back inside the vessel, one again vanshing into the body of metal and pixels.
"One thing is for sure. CYNDER WILL PAY. For my creation. FOR HER CRIMES."

Shadow licked his lips.
"Then, we shall wreck havoc upon this ship. And then find a way out of here. Tell me, Glitch, how is your power is comparison to an original?"

"I WON'T KNOW. Until I try."
The glitched drone grinned manically.
"THIS GLITCH. It has a name." It paused dramatically. "YOU MAY CALL ME. Kazeїnn."

There was a sound of maniac thumping from across the room. A large cat, mostly black but with some silver markings, was sat in the container, smashing its paw into the glass.

"Come.... here. Know... way... out. No... air. Help." The cat mewled. The container was airtight, but not soundproof. The feline was running out of oxygen to breath. Cynder had negleted in sending instructions to purge the CO2 from the prison.

"Kazeїnn it will be." Shadow nodded, and suspiciously padded over to the container.
"Should we?"

The cats mouth opened and closed, sucking in, drinking the last of the oxygen in the tank through it's jaws.

Shadow focused on the box, letting out the shock wave residue from his power. It smashed open the box.

The cat fell out, gasping, with a puff of stale air. With a glance at the bigger wolf, the cat suddenly exploded, and a tiny bird with the same black-silver markings fell out, and darted to the top of one of the medical cabinets to regain his breath.

Shadow eyed the bird suspiciously, flicking his dark tail in doubt.

"Just making sure you wouldn't eat me." The bird chirped. "Now, you said something about escaping."

"And wrecking the place." Shadow added, "Yes, I did."

"Oh. Well, that's not a good idea. The drones kinda go batshit if you touch anything you're not meant to."

Shadow indicated to the glitch.
"That isn't a problem."

"Well, alright then. My name is T'Irsa."

With that, the bird launched itself off the cabinet, and in another explosion of feathers and fur, a black dusk wolf appeared. He had silver arrows under his eyes, and along his side. His eyes were a smoky shade of blue. He gave a grin.

"Shadow." Shadow dipped his head, "What do you know about this ship, T'Irsa?"

"A lot. Before this thing, I'd escaped my cell more times than I can count. I know the entire ship like the back of my paw."

"And Cynder is up to something, correct?" Shadow nodded his head with T'Irsa's words.

"I don't know." T'Irsa said with scorn. "She doesn't make it a habit of telling me her plans."

Shadow rolled his eyes.
"Perhaps you can tell me why you've been locked in there?"
