Bottom of the valley

Collier gave a squeak. Another wave of whispers went through the crowd; "The holy one," "The slayer," "The dark angel"; it was clear Daybreak had been recognised by the crowd.
Collier turned to Casi.
"Isn't that amazing?" she breathed softly. "In our legends, our creator was blessed with a dark angel for a mate, who slew any enemies who approached up, ensuring we stayed a pacifist realm."
She along with many others swept her eyes over Daybreak with a mixture of awe and approval.

"Why should we believe intruders?" a nearby wolf spat at Cynder, only paying her comment half his attention.

Daybreak clearly approved of the support, but he was focused on this 'Cout'av'. Dismissing him, he picked Featherkite out of the crowd.
"You."
Daybreak blasted a ball of traditional original white light at Featherkite's head. Featherkite slipped aside, and Daybreak closed on her, eyes flashing with the blood of death.

"No." Cynder murmured. "I cannot believe it."

"So, Daybreak, you're some kind of peace-keeper." Cynder said in a loud voice, leaping between them. She needed the support of the valley wolves. "Have any of you heard of the things he's done in our realm?"

(These valley wolves remind me of church-goers that go around proclaiming the bible is be-all and end-all of life xD)

Daybreak hesitated. Featherkite took the opportunity to leap at his throat. But Daybreak threw her off, and pinned her down. Featherkite's pupil's grew small.
"He's...he's a monster..."

"Have you heard some of the things your realm did to her?" retorted one wolf.
"Yeah, your world deserves to die!" another spat contemptuously.
Collier turned to whisper again to Kasi.
"Can we go somewhere else? I don't like blood..." she trailed off. "It scares me..."

"Your realm." Cynder said, "Was designed to not know the hardships that our realm knows. It was Kaiti's aim. We Originals have always battled. Hell, the Isles of Dusk are not even my own realm. But I do not agree with what your, "Slayer" is doing. What he is doing to these mortal wolves, is like the Slayer turning around and hurting you. Would you agree with that? Would you defend yourselves? That's all these mortals have done. They understand their power is too small to launch an attack on them. They just react to threats."

"Our realm," echoed one wolf. "Was made to block out the pain caused by your realm."
The wolves around all nodded in silent agreement.
"It is no concern of ours what happens to you. It is stated that our very purpose is to protect this place. Trespassers enter at their own risk."

Creekstone was preoccupied glaring at Daybreak. It was obvious the amount of hatred he had for the original.

Featherkite struggled under Daybreak's grasp.
"No...no, I will not die!" She hissed, causing a flicker of amusement in Daybreak's red eyes. He let go of the youngster for a brief moment, and then seized her by her neck, shaking her and then throwing her aside.
"You have grown weaker than I expected, Featherkite." He muttered quietly.

Creekstone bristled and growled quietly.

Featherkite slowly stumbled to her feet.
"Not weak." She called quietly, "Not weak."

"Some pacifists you are." Cynder said. "True pacifists prevent war. You wolves are just weak."

"Actually, pacifists don't fight at all. They prevent war with words." Daybreak interrupted speaking distantly. He was watching Featherkite stumble towards him, her teeth bared. She took a leap, and struck his side with an electrical charge, and he leaped aside, smashing his forepaws around her skull, letting off an electrical charge. Featherkite crumpled.
"Someone forgot I steal powers." Daybreak was amused, "And dearest Featherkite lives off her powers."

Something prevented Creekstone from stepping forward. He wanted to, but it was as if his feet were planted in the ground.

Daybreak paused, and whirled on Creekstone, power obviously still being drained from Featherkite.
"You don't like electricity, do you?" Daybreak spoke in a low voice, his eyes flashing.
Electricity rose above his head, circling, and then it flew at Creekstone.

Creekstone had no time to react before the shock hit him. He was sent flying backwards by the blow. He writhed on the ground for a moment, screaming in pain, before he jolted once, twice, and the life faded from his eyes. His jaw hung open and he was sprawled on the ground.

"No! No! No!" Featherkite screamed, and threw herself at Daybreak, clawing feebly at his throat. Daybreak walked slowly to Creekstone's lifeless body before sending some of Featherkite's power back on her, knocking her off onto Creekstone. Featherkite tried to strike him with her paws, pain and frustration obvious in her eyes.
"You two were once great." Daybreak murmured, watching as Featherkite gave up and desperately tried to revive Creekstone.

"Pacifists - " Cynder repeated, "Prevent war. Help me prevent this murder!"

"Creekstone, wake up. Wake up! Please Creekstone! I need you, I want you...Creekstone!" Featherkite cried, licking his face.

"You've proved your point, Daybreak." Chessru snapped, his voice holding back his quivering.

Cynder turned away, disgusted that the Valley Wolves let Daybreak just commit murder before their eyes.

"We've come for one thing, Daybreak. You didn't have to kill one of the Four in the process."

Cynder: Whatevs. You got the thing we came for?)

Daybreak smiled to Cynder softly.
"With Swiftwing back in action, I had to remove on of them."

Featherkite buried her face in Creekstone's fur, blocking the others out. Chessru twitched uncomfortably, and Cout'av was hissing at Cynder's side.

"Cout'av." Cynder attempted to pacify her first officer. She then turned back to Daybreak.

"I get it, Daybreak. You've got this egotistic need to eliminate anything in your path. So, just tell me where Brook is, we'll retrieve her, and let you get on with your complete domination in peace."
