The Clan Cave

"I'm a Warrior" Kasi spoke out to Kori, aloud, "Tsuki's a Hunter"

"As said - erm."

"There is no 'erm'" Tynoka rolled her eyes.

"I mean I can't decide." She snapped.

"Do you like fighting or hunting? Or Healing prehaps?" Tynoka twitched one ear.

Nyx slipped into the dark cave, which was full of her clanmates. Her eyes were a soft green, showing she was very calm and peaceful at the moment.
Her eyes looked around for a dry place to sit.

Tynoka spotted a movement, and for a moment, her eyes danced.
"Hello?"
Kasi looked at his sister and rolled his eyes.
"You liked looking at that flower" he muttered.
Tsuki remained silent, watching the shape in the cave.

Nyx's eyes watched some of the others, before returning to the floor.
She was the newest betess to Starcliff, and was afraid to talk to people. At this thought she let out a sigh, and her eyes started to change to grey.

"Wait here" Tynoka demanded with a flick of her tail. Tsuki nodded politely, and Kasi just raised a wolfen eyebrow.

Nyx got to her paws, her expression unhappy.

"Hello?" Tynoka called out, a stern edge to her voice.

Nyx looked round, she saw the dark shape of a wolf.
"Hello~?" She replied, her ears could make out that it was a wolf, and one of her packs.

"Nyx" Tynoka recognised the voice, and lowered her guard, "Were you promoted to Beta after my death?" she chuckled.

"Yes... why?" Nyx replied. Her legs trembled.

"It doesn't matter. How's the clan been? I brough back the 'ol Senior Hunter and his children to the clan" Tynoka paused, considering her words, "And some fox hybred"

"I'm not sure... No one really talks to me" Nyx sighed.

"I'm not surprised" Tynoka commented under her breath. She was interrupted by Kasi padding behind her.

"I should go" Nyx said, before turning away to the cave entrance.

"Go where? And who are you" Kasi narrowed his eyes.
"I thought I asked you to stay outside" Tynoka hissed.

((I'm guessing Tsuki is still here?))

I glanced at the strange horned-wolf named Tsuki. Unlike the others, he seemed friendly enough; the others, quite frankly, scared me. It was if I had to step on shards of ice not to be labelled a freak, which, due to my heritage as a tribal Kitsune, was kind of hard to do.

But this ‘Tsuki’ seemed to understand that it was hard to drop the ways I’d grown up with, especially as I knew nothing of wolves. Perhaps he wouldn’t mind clearing up thing the bewildered questions that floated around in my head?

“So,” I barked, turning to him. “What exactly does ‘Senior’ mean?”

"It means either older, as in age - or higher ranking" Tsuki explained quietly.

I chuckled, wondering why 'Tynoka' had placed me as a Senior Warrior. I wasn't particularly old, and hadn't done anything to deserve a higher ranking. Still, she was 'Beta', apparently, so I guessed I shouldn't question it. And at least I now had an answer to one question.

"So that gives you power over the hunters?" I asked, trying to work out if I understood Tsuki correctly. I had a long way to go before I fully understood wolves properly, but if I asked basic questions now, I could deal with the other stuff later.

"I guess when I was first apointed, I was the better Hunter" Tsuki shrugged.

"Why'd you need to go there?" Kasi asked.
Tynoka just scowled. What would her rank be now?
