| Daybreak landed elegantly on a spike as the flames slowly died. He folded away his wings neatly on his back.
"Do you wish to start the game?"
"If it saves the world, yes!" Taiyo snapped, almost hitting Featherkite with her tail as the pup padded towards the spike which Daybreak stood upon. She skipped aside, her ears flicking with annoyance.
"What the hell is this game?" Featherkite asked, switching her glance to Creekstone. | |

| Apose flipped upwards, sending Daybreak skidding aside. But Daybreak's fur brushed against a spike. He thrust it forwards, where it hit Apose's chest. | |
