Kaiti suddenly stiffened.
"He-" she began, before she relaxed again. She looked slihtly surprised, and stared at the ground. She shook her head.
"Sorry, just thought of something." sh said, sheepishly.

With a grin, Habano spun around and nosed the pup in the ribs before leaping backwards.

Habano lifted his foot up, with Unoki still on it, and tossed her into the air, catching her with his wing.

Kaiti lay down next to Daybreak and went to sleep again, still tired after giving birth.

"Well..." Habano dipped his head quickly so that Unoki would slide off. He looked back up at Daybreak with a bit of concern in his eyes. "I know that I can't live off these apples, and I don't know if the pup eats because he needs to..."
