'You can't catch me!' There was a crackle of a voice. Daybreak spun round, his red and black tail twitching. He saw a flash of green in the darkness. 'Neon!' He snarled, leaping forwards. The green flickered and died. Then it appeared again behind him

'Five is greater than four!' The crackled voice chimmed again. She's talking about Cynder! Daybreak realised. 'But Four is greater than Two!' Daybreak countered. There was a crackle of laughter.

'Two is greater than one but One overrules' It laughed. Daybreak crouched down for a leap, landing swiftly onto the green. Neon began to laugh harder, stricking Daybreak with such a blow it knocked him cleanly aside
