The Moonriver

Sunfire nodded in agreement. "I shall stay to make sure none are injured."

"Alright, Tsuki?"
"I need to stay here, I can't risk it..."
"Yeah, I see your point. See you later Sunfire!"

Chessru took off.

Sunfire grinned at him, keeping her eyes on him until he was out of sight.

Tsuki shook his head. "You love him don't you?"

Sunfire laughed. "Yeah, I don't deny it."

Chessru and Silvermask landed.
"The clans need to re-group" Silvermask started drawing a breath, "I take command of Moonriver clan from this day onward"

Taiyo landed and cried out in joy.
"Sister's going to join Moonriver with me! She's a goodie now!" she barked in her puppy-like manner.

Brook landed softly. She licked Taiyo's head softly.

"Anyone who wishes to stay in Moonriver clan will stay here, those who do not, leave please" Silvermask stated.
Tsuki looked around. He like Starcliff, and Sunwood. But if Brook...
No. Tsuki flew off. Starcliff was the weakest caln. He would join them.

Brook sniffed around the dens. Even she was exausting rapidly.

Chessru noticed Tsuki's absence, he shrugged, and shuffled next to Sunfire.
"Sunfire, Chessru, I'd like to apoint you the Senior Warriors. Taiyo, you can be an apprentice, Sunfire can teach you if you like?" She paused. "Brook, would you like to be Beta?"

"Of course." Brook nodded. "I'd be honoured to and it might bring some honour back to my name."

Taiyo nodded.
"I agree, I'll be mentored by Sunfire." she gave Brook a lick, and noticed her tired face.
"Um, i don't suppose me and my sister could rest a while now? We haven't slept for a few days, well I haven't anyways... and it was a long flight back..."

Brook smiled. "Come on." She tapped Taiyo to an empty den and lay down.

Sunfire smiled. "See you when you wake up, then. I'm going to go to the Rocky Ledge. That's where I always am, even before Viral attacked us..." a faraway look crossed her eyes. "...I always sat on that ledge in the sun..." she took off and flew up to the ledge. Taiyo leapt into the den and curled up near Brook. The den felt like home while she was curled up to her beloved sister.

Brook stretched a warm wing over her and tucked her wing closed. Brook fell asleep.

Taiyo also fell fast asleep.

Brook looked across the Moonriver camp. Her new home.She fell asleep with dreams of a new, strong clan.

Xania decided to go back to Starcliff. Seth and Serendia didn't want to go back to Sunwood. "Can we stay just for a bit?"

"Sure..." Sunfire nodded. "The clans are regrouping, so this will probably be the last time you'll be able to stay in Moonriver on friendly terms." she laughed. "It'll help if we're in close 'teams' to fight those twolegs, though. Come on, let's go to the rocky ledge and get a drink." she took off on her bright green wings, up towards the rocky ledge.

Silverstorm padded into camp, grubby. She'd managed to fly most of the way, taking breaks on Sunfire. Then, she'd swooped low- and fallen. She'd hurt her wing and was holding it awkwardly.

Taiyo stirred and looked out.
"Silverstorm?" she called. "Come and rest with us..."

Silverstorm yawned.

"Ok." She curled up next to Taiyo. Brook stirred.

"Theres been a new birth"

Taiyo smiled. "A new birth means a new life and a new happy little soul," she sighed. "And shall we go back to sleep, or what?" she laughed.

"Yes." Brook extended her wing over Silverstorm.
