"Urgh...I' not sure"

Crane shrugged and ducked back under the water with hardly a sound. Taiyo fell asleep on Chessru's back.

Storm couldn't resist a corkscrew dive whilst everyone else caught their breaths. She swam deep into the world of Crane- rich blues, greens, purples. She swam deeper, running a paw along the coral. She wouldn't mind living here. But her protesting lungs longed for air.

She took a breath from a bubble stuck under a crag and continued to dive, rolling among the shoals. Eventully, she had to turn away from the magnificent world she loved. She saw the waves breaking.

I have to help Brook, if for not my own sake but for Taiyo's.

Crane surfaced behind Storm.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" he said in his smooth voice. "This is where I live."
Taiyo opened an eye sleepily. "You're a wolf... you don't live underwater..."
"Well if that were true, you wouldn't be able to survive in lava," retorted Crane. "Part of my power is underwater breathing, and allowing others to do so also." he sighed. "And if you're looking for your sister, phoenix-wolf... the twolegs took her. She is no longer in Ashpeaks."

Chessru nodded. "Well, I can breath underwater too, but only for half and hour apeice. It's only because Water is my power. So where's Brook thwen?"

Crane shrugged. "I have no idea, though if I had to guess I'd say the twoleg camp. They probably want to harness her power and use it against us." he laughed. "Though I'm not one hundred per cent sure."
He turned to Storm. "Hey, wolfie," he addressed her casually. "Want another swim? I can help you stay under." he winked.

Chessru saw the smoke rising from back on Dusk Isle.
"Oh another..." He paused. "That's the Two-leg camp!"

"Please." Storm nodded. "I love the ocean."

Crane shrugged.
"Chessru, right? Take the little one with you and go where you want. If you don't mind, I'll have some fun with this little lady." he said, in a cheeky air, winking at Storm.
Her swam over gracefully and touched Storm with his nose, before pulling her under.
"As soon as you come up, the power will wear off." he told her. "So stay under until you want to go up."

Storm nodded and dived down. The seaweed waved in forests, thick, shoals.

((Can she talk whilst under?))

Crane grinned as he swum through a strange rock formation.
"You like it?" he asked.

"It's beautiful." Storm said. "I love the ocean. I dived when I was little." She swam deeper.

Crane swum towards a sea-cave.
"Over here, wolfie," he called.

Storm swam strongly, following Crane to the cave.

Chessru took off, towards the Two-leg camp

Crane swum through a rocky passage and surfaced in a surprisingly placed underwater cavern. The water reflected off phosphorescense on the cavern ceiling, making a beautiful blue pattern. Crane leapt onto the sand and shook himself.
"If you come up, the power will wear off, but there's something we need to do here..." he nodded. "This is where I sleep. A cave connecting the seabed to dusk isle."

Storm surged out of the water like a trout, landing with an air of... well it wasn't gracefullness anyway. She shook the small droplets of water from her pelt and smelt the soft sea air.

"What is it you want to do?"

Crane turned and blinked.
"Well, go to the twoleg camp, of course!" he laughed. "Brooks a real cutie wolf with a real good cutie reputation among us loners. Might as well attempt to do something gallant-seeming like saving her."

"In other words, flirt?" Storm laughed

Crane rolled his eyes.
"Or something!" he laughed, before padding on up the sandy passage.

Crane reached the top of the passage and bounded out after Storm.

Tsuruya flew over the ocean until he got about half way between Dusk Isle and Ashpeaks. He dived under the water with hardly a splash.
"So tired..." he muttered. "Need sleep..."

Taiyo flew over the ocean just as Polaris flew over with Storm's body.
"Hey, Polaris, ready to bury Stormy?" she asked. "I have Stormy's spirit with me, she's going to the ocean floor for a while too!"
Polaris looked surprised, but said nothing. He let the body go, and it fell like a stone beneath the waves.

Storm appeared to Polaris for a second, and licked his cheek.

I won't forget you, and I'll wait for you. She murmered, dissappearing.

Taiyo turned to the spirit.
"Storm, daddy told you to go under the water and see what you find..." she prompted.
