The Elk herds

Arcaii landed. "What the he-"
Wingspan dropped Creekstone. "Where are we?"
"Pheonix. The Pheonix lives in the volcano."
Arcaii looked at Ckreestone in surprise.

"Come on, we need to see where we are." Wingspan grabbed Creek and took flight again.

Myst shot out of nowhere, snarling.

Arcaii looked down in surprise. "Wingspan!"

Her brother turned, and saw Myst. "What the-"

Piku landed swiftly next to Arcaii, and, recognising Myst, he bared his teeth.
"You're that evil wolf from the tribe, aren't you?" he hissed.

Iska flew down and bowled Myst over.

"So?"She grinned madly

"Now that Brook has turned to the good side... what will you do?" he asked suspiciously.

"Brooks gone good?" Myst shot up. "S***"

"No, not so fast!" Iska yelled, pulling her down. "I'm bored of Evil things, so go do something usefull" She let go.

Myst snorted, then began to fly towards Ashpeaks.

"Oh dear" Iska mumbled.

Piku nodded. "Let's follow her." he took off.

"She's dead, I think" Iska stopped.

Piku blinked in surprise.
"...What?"

"They killed her" Iska muttered. "Come back to my clan with me, Moonriver clan is regrouping"

Arcaii stared in amazement. She had never seen an odder colored wolf. Looks like a freaking peacock, she thought to herself.

Creekstone opened his eyes and spoke. "Momma, who are these wolves?"

Piku's face fell. "Iska... I want to come back with you... but I feel more at home on the Broad ledge. It has been my home since my mother left me, and besides, apart from you, no other Dusk Isle wolf has accepted me."

Arcaii licked her son's ear. "I don't know." She flew down and landed in front of Piku. "Can I ask who you are?" she said politely. "If I'm not interrupting..."

Piku dipped his head.
"I am Pikokku-no-Kagayaki, A-single-glowing-feather-in-time, a loner of Ashpeaks. I live in a nearby place and my friend Iska anhd I wondered if you needed assistance."

Arcaii grinned. "You came at the right time, then."
Wingspan landed, stepping close to his sister. He studied Piku and tipped his head slightly.
Creekstone took a step forward and said softly, "Glowing feathers in time will glow in the dark, but that does not mean they will glow forever."
Arcaii flicked her son's wing. "He talks a little odd."

"Your young one is wise," Piku dipped his head. "Though feather will one day cease to glow, time may become longer than expected." as if proving a point, Piku closed his eyes.

Piku opened his eyes, darted round the still frame to the trees, and took a large leaf from one of them, before running back round to his original position. He closed his eyes again.

Piku opened his eyes. A leaf had appeared in his mouth. He presented it to Creekstone.

Creekstone looked at the leaf and smiled. "That's amazing. You can control time, right? It's just a guess."
Arcaii was surprised at the sudden appearence at the leaf. That's odd...

Piku nodded. "I can freeze it for 30 seconds at a time. While it is frozen I use either power of the mind or my own strength to move and change things around." he looked up at the sky. "The only condition is... I'm not allowed to kill anyone..."
