The Cavern

Sunlight walked inside the cavern cautiously. His eyes became torches and lit up the area. Suddenly a wailing noise creaked out. He shivered and stayed close to the entrance.

Seth and Serendia arrived at the cavern. "I don't like this place." Serendia whispered.
"It's not haunted." Seth assured her. "But the spirits still hang out here." Serendia rolled her eyes. "Veeery reassuring, Seth." she said sarcastically and looked around.
"Who are you?" a voice suddenly piped up. Seth jumped and Serendia chuckled.
"I'm Serendia. Seth here, is my brother." she told the voice.
"I'm Sunlight." replied the voice and he stepped out. "You're from Dusk Isle?"
"Yeah." Seth said. "You from Ash Peaks?"
"Yep," Sunlight answered. "Hey!" he narrowed his eyes. "I know you!" Serendia looked at him more closely. "Ahhh, touchy dude." she said. "You were intruding Moonriver, you know?" Sunlight scowled at her.
"We need to go back. Twolegs." Seth said. Serendia nodded.
"Coming?" she asked Sunlight. He thought for a while.
"Sure." They flew back.

Sunlight sighed and flopped down near the entrance of the cavern. The moaning didn't bother him now. He would explore it later, right now, he needed rest after cleaning so many wounds. He fell asleep.

"HEY!" Serendia shouted at him. "We're here to visit you." Sunlight woke up blearily.
"Oh. Call me Light." Seth shrugged.
"Whatever, can we stay?"
"Like, forever?" Light frowned.
"Maybe." Serendia shrugged. Light smiled.
"Sure." and he fell asleep again. Seth and Serendia glanced at each other.

"I'm going out now." Serendia suddenly said.
"Why?" Seth frowned. "There's not much to do out there."
"Well, I'm bored being stuck in here!" Serendia snapped back and flew towards Sunwood. "I'm going to see what happened." Seth looked back at Sunlight who shrugged.
"I think I'll go back to the volcano." he said. Seth nodded.
"Fine, I'll follow my sister."

Light landed near the entrance, but didn't go inside. He curled up outside.

Desire landed just outside the cave, she could feel the spirits and trotted inside her firey tails lighting her way. With a quick flick of her tails she raised a skeleton to keep her company, the creaking of its limbs as it moved was soothing to her it kept her calm.

The further into the cave they got the more noticable the presence of spirits became to Desire

Kasi landed, and hoped Collier was behind him. He folded away his wings, and drew in long breaths.

Collier landed behind him and gave a little squeal of excitement.
"Where is this? It seems very exciting!"

"I don't know" Kasi murmured, "I was out of breath and this place seemed okay to land" he admited.

Collier sniffed the air.
"Hey, Kasi," she barked. "I can smell Silver Birch trees in here!"

"What?" Kasi looked up, "Where?"

"Uhh..." Collier paused to adjust her hat with one paw. "Down the cavern..." she began walking further into the cavern. She was either very brave, or a complete idiot.
Well, maybe she was both.

Kasi followed nervously, his eyes darting.

There suddenly came a bright light from down the tunnel. Collier ran into it at once. The light swallowed her up and she vanished.

"Uh...Collier?" Kasi gulped. After a few seconds, he closed his eyes and ran after her.

The two earth wolves pelted into the cave. They, unlike firey creations, could not fly. However, they were much swifter, much harder to break and destroy. Earth was solid. It felt no fear.

Which is why they ran into the light without so much as a blink.
