The Clan Den

Taiyo padded into the den and promptly fell asleep on the floor.

Brook laughed and curled up, and Silverstorm leapt in.

"Brook?"

Brook lifted her head.
"Stormcloud."

"I need to explain why I did what I did those summers ago."

"I have already forgiven, but go on."

"My mentor was Astic. I was forced to."

"As I said, you are forgiven. Come- Sleep with us."

"My pup and mate are waiting back at Moonriver."

"I scented new birth."

"Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

Taiyo stood.
"WAIT!" he yelled.
There was a pause.

"I'm glad you two are friends again." Taiyo's face was a big happy smile. "Sister is the best sister in the world and Stormy is the best Stormy in the world!"

Stormcloud grinned.

"Do you want to come and see Swift? She's already on her feet and walking around."

Taiyo yawned lazily. "I'm tired. You bring him here." she demanded in a 'better-than-thou' kind of way, with a smile.

Storm laughed.

"I'll try." She turned and flew away

Taiyo snuggled into Brook's fur to wait.

Sunfire stumbled into the den and fell down next to Brook, promptly falling asleep.
Taiyo also was now asleep, bored of waiting for Stormcloud.

Silvermask curled up in a ball the other side of the cave, away from the others.

Taiyo began rolling across the floor drowsily until she reached Silvermask.

Stormcloud padded into the den. Swift began to squeal. More wolves!

Taiyo opened his eyes when he saw Storm.
"Hello, Stormy!" Taiyo grinned. "Come rest with us!"
Polaris followed Stormcloud in.
"We need to rest anyway," he shrugged. "Shall we?"

Stormcloud settled down, hushing Swift. She yawned and leapt onto Taiyo's bac, turning in a circle.

Silvermask held her breath silently.

"Stormy..." Polaris murmered. "Do you think we should join this clan?"
Sunfire looked over in surprise.
"It may help us bring up Swiftwing, as well as having the option to fight to change the forest... yet, I might miss the freedom of choice I had when I was a loner... what do you think?"

"I'm not sure. We should think about it though."

Polaris nodded. "It's up to you, Stormy." he smiled, before closing his eyes and putting his head on his paws to sleep.
Taiyo looked at Silvermask. "Silvera? Hey... Silvera?" she said, trying to rouse her. "Are you ok, Silvera?"

Silverstorm pulled herself from Brook's wing. Brook stirred.

"Stormcloud!" Silverstorm nuzzled Storm and looked down at Swift.

"Aww!"

Brook smiled and settled back down.

"Yes?" Silvermask replied carmly, lifting her battleworn face.

"Are you breathing?" Taiyo questioned.

"Yes" Silvermask's voice came out in a emotionless way.

Storm stretched.

"I'm going for a walk." She told Polaris.

"Are you?" Silvermask questioned in a robot like voice.

"Loosening my joints a little." She replied. "I'm a bit stiff."

"Where are you going?"
